Fear and Loathing in Chocolateland

There’s a fairly vigorous, if rather one-sided, conversation happening on the net about whether chocolate manufacturers should be able to substitute fats other than cocoa butter in chocolate products and still call the result “chocolate.” (Say “vegetable oil” in a shocked, hoarse, sotto voce whisper.)
